The 2019 vintage stands out as both remarkable and exceptional. That year was defined by significant drought and below-average rainfall, with the summer months experiencing intense heatwaves. As a result, the harvest at Château La Croix du Casse began early—starting on September 16 for the Merlot and concluding on October 7 for the Cabernets. From the outset of winemaking, all indicators pointed to an outstanding vintage: deep color, generous fruit roundness, impressive length, and historically high alcohol levels across all grape varieties.
